During the week commencing 17th October 2011 Breens Solicitors will prepare wills free of charge in return for a donation to Southport Samaritans.
To take part all one has to do is contact Breens Southport office on 01704 532890 and arrange an appointment to make a will during that week. The will is then prepared free of charge in return for a donation to Southport Samaritans.
Sarah Charnley of Breens says “Having previously taken part in a similar campaign for a Liverpool-based charity which proved very successful we wanted to support a charity local to our Southport Office. We have chosen Southport Samaritans due to the fantastic work and support service it provides to the local community. As they rely heavily on fundraising activities we hope the Will Week will not only raise awareness for the charity but also raise some much needed funds to support its ongoing work”.
Anne, Director of Southport Samaritans says “Each branch of Samaritans is self sufficient and receives no funding from the government. This means that we rely heavily on donations and fundraising activities in order to keep our branch going. We always really appreciate fundraising ideas from local businesses and are very grateful to Breens Solicitors for their generous offer to donate their fee for wills to Southport & District Samaritans during the dedicated Make a Will Week”.
