'Can't take it with you' episode 2

The second episode of the BBC series 'Cant take it with you' went out last night and this time the focus was on the difficult subject of favouritism. Is it right to leave more of one's estate to one child over another. The programe highlighted the problems that this can cause although there may be very good reasons for the decision.

Some times the decision to leave more to one child than another can create bitterness and serious rifts within families. It is therefore recommended that such plans are discussed openly with the family to ensure everyone understands the reasons and you may need to be prepared to change the decision if its going to do more harm than good.

If you have such a dilemma and need guidance why not contact Sarah Charnley or Jennifer Wilkinson on either 01704 532890 (Southport ) or 0151 928 6544 ( Waterloo Office ).
