The Ministry of Justice confirmed yesterday that it will be deferring its civil litigation reforms, as recommended by the Jackson report, until April 2013.
The changes to the Legal Aid, Sentencing and Punishment of Offenders Bill, which was to see a change to no win, no fee arrangements, was expected to be implemented in October but have been put back to April to allow legal practices more time to prepare.
