29-September-2016
The last Friday in the month is a special one for Breens’ employees, they get to ditch their work wear and dig out the denim, all in aid of a good cause.
From now until the end of the year, Breens is taking part in Denim for Dementia. For a £1 per denim item donation staff get to wear as many denim items as they like be that jeans, shirt, jacket, hat or – fashionistas look away now – a combination of them all.
All money raised goes to Breens’ charity of the year, Alzheimer’s Society a charity set up to help anyone affected by dementia.
Dementia can happen to anyone and there is no known cure. At present there are 850,000 people living with dementia in the UK.
If you call into our offices on the last Friday of the month, show your support by popping a pound in the collection box and help us to raise as much as we can to support those affected by dementia.
We are a Dementia-Friendly firm. The majority of our staff have undergone Dementia Friend training and are aware of the problems people with dementia, and their carers, face.
Our Private Client solicitor, Faye Lowery, is able to give Dementia Friend talks.
