27-September-2016
Each November we take part in Will Aid. Will Aid month is the time to find a local solicitor who is participating in the scheme, make an appointment with a professional Will Writer and have your Will written by a professional for the price of a charitable donation.
Why you need a Will
If you die without a Will, you will have no say in who benefits from your estate. This may see your loved ones left without provision, particularly if you are living with someone but are not married.
How do I make a Will?
Although it is possible to write a Will yourself, it is highly advisable that you use a solicitor. A solicitor will make sure that your Will is valid and that it properly reflects your wishes.
How much does a Will Aid Will cost?
Your will writing solicitor will not ask you for any money. Instead he or she will invite you to make a donation to charity. Will Aid benefits the following charities Sightsavers, Age UK and the NSPCC amongst others. You can make your selection online.
How much should I donate?
The suggested voluntary donation is £95 for a basic Will or £150 for a pair of basic mirror Wills.
Why choose Breens to write your will?
Other local solicitors are taking part in the Will Aid scheme so why choose Breens rather than one of the other law firms taking part? Breens holds the Law Society’s Wills and Inheritance Quality Scheme. A standard of excellence which sets us apart from most other local solicitors.
How do I make a Will Aid appointment?
